Does anybody know if the spent ballast brought in off the metrolink will be used to infill the hole where the new diesel shed will be?

Thats so true, imagine it painting in a shed with central heating and a specialist painting area(I hope the new shed has both of these).

I would say it will be a sad day when the diesel group finally move to a new shed, seeing as the group have been at Castlecroft since the early days and many fond memories have been had at it.

What about fords demolition?(just up the line from bury,diagonal from the old wood yard) as surely all it would take to get the rubble from there is the right wagons to drop it off after being loaded by mechanical diggers which are on the site.
