Don't appear to have an electric section but this is the nearest. Arriving at some point in the next week or so will be class 86/AL6 86259/E3137 'Les Ross' for some modification work to be done under contract by ELR staff.....and yes, before anyone asks it isn't the first AC at Bury. Classes 81-84/...

Received a text from a friend on board that the 40 had failed at/near Grantham and the 67 on the rear has gone on the front with Stansted tour cancelled due delays.

Very sad news; hope the 40 failure isn't serious.

Very informative links, I see the loco is BR 4F equivalent.

Off topic, heard some people talking at Rawtenstall on Saturday about "WPR", what does it mean the man asked, "West Pennine Railway" the lady replied :lol: :lol:
